86 members attended the July meeting, with 18 apologies and 1 (overseas) visitor. As in previous years, the July meeting focused on the Biggest Morning Tea to raise funds to support the Cancer Council in its work. The Guild raised nearly $1000 through the Silent Auction and member donations and members voted to bring the total donation to $1000. Thank you to the committee members and others who did so much work in preparing for, and carrying out, this activity.

Glenda Cust was the July speaker. Glenda is a multi-talented fabric artist and members were very interested in her stories and samples of her completed projects. The photo gallery below gives an indication of the range and quality of her work.

Members are working hard to complete work for our September Quilt Exhibition and items for sale in the boutique.  Details of the exhibition and also information about monthly events can be found elsewhere on this website.

The meeting concluded with the Show and Tell feature: a display of members special projects. The photo gallery shares these below.

Until August,

Kerry Canty
