111 members and two visitors enjoyed the celebrations at the December meeting of the Guild.  Members produced some beautifully decorated tables, as well as Christmas themed accessories and clothing.  The photos below give the flavour of the hall after the best efforts of our decorators.

Many thanks to those members who bought generous donations for those in need, and as usual the Kris Kringle proved very popular, with members providing some well thought-out surprises.

Fran revealed 286 quilts had been provided to our chosen groups throughout 2019, and thanked everyone who assisted in this program. A large number of completed quilt tops have been provided to the program: members are asked to watch for the  activities planned for 2020 to help turn these into completed quilts.

Sarah Quilter displayed the Block of the Month quilt for 2020: those interested in participating can find the details and patterns elsewhere on this website.

Janine, on behalf of members, thanked Sally for her work as President. Thanks were also extended to all of those who made the Retreat such a success.  A number of projects started (and possibly) completed at the retreat were displayed in the concluding Show and Tell session. In particular, a number of beautiful bags were completed. Unfortunately due to lack of documentation the items displayed are not shown on the website. Anyone interested in particular items can check  the photos taken by Kerry Canty.

I hope everyone has a very enjoyable and restful break and is looking forward to catching up at our February meeting.
