106 members and 5 visitors attended the July meeting where the main focus was on the successful Big Morning Tea. Members kindly donated a wide range of items for the silent auction which attracted a lot of bidding from everyone present. Due to members' generosity nearly $3000 was raised for the Big Morning Tea. A big congratulations to all concerned.
Jo Pride, the Chief Executive Officer of Hagar, addressed our meeting. She outlined the main goals of Hagar - an organisation committed to the protection, recovery and reintegration of women who have suffered severe human rights abuses.
