This is a one day workshop with no previous stitching experience necessary. Slow down and find your inner peace while spending relaxing hours free-form stitching a linen scarf that looks equally beautiful on both sides.

Learn how to stop and start threads without making knots and create beautiful patterns with different line work, stitching and colour choices.

Judy Coates Perez is an International award-winning mixed media textile artist, travelling globally to teach painting and mixed media techniques on fabric and lecture about her creative process. One part gypsy and two parts visual alchemist, she travels to new places, opening up new realms of possibilities for her students by revealing endless ways to combine paint, paper and metal with fabric and the sources of inspiration we all too often overlook in our immediate worlds. Judy has written numerous articles for Quilting Arts and Cloth Paper Scissors magazines, has three instructional DVDs by Interweave and has been a frequent guest on Quilting Arts TV.
