Sew, Art & Chat – May 2023

Sew, Art & Chat is our Guilds very social day - bring your hand or machine sewing project along, a good day to relax and do your own thing. Opportunity to bring your sewing machine (remember to bring an extension cord). We have large tables available to spread out your project or to cut fabric.
- Bring your lunch and drinks.
If you are inclined, a sub-group meets to explore Art quilt techniques. Details of this months Project/Learning Workshop is in your members Newsletter.
Jenny will run the May workshop, taking you through the steps to complete a small quilt using Fractured Piecing.
If you plan to participate, you will need the following:
- Sewing Machine
- Rotary cutter, mat and ruler
- Sewing kit - scissors, thread, needles.
- Four identical panels - alternatively, you can use a patterned fabric and cut the same section out 4 times.
Participate in a challenge in a day. The challenge will be set on the day.
