Sew, Art & Chat – March 2022

Sew, Art & Chat is our Guilds very social day - bring your hand or machine sewing project along, a good day to relax and do your own thing. Opportunity to bring your sewing machine (remember to bring an extension cord), we have large tables available to spread out your project or to cut fabric.

• Bring your lunch and drinks.

If you are so inclined, a sub-group meets to explore Art quilt techniques.

Details of this months Project/Learning Workshop is in your members Newsletter. The workshop this month will cover eco-dyeing, rusting fabric and
bleaching. You can join in any or all of these techniques so it will be a very full day. The entire SAC committee will be teaching this as a team. There are
some pre-requirements – be aware that a couple of the items for eco-printing require advance preparation. Details are in your March In Stitches newsletter.

Participate in a challenge in a day. Challenge will be set on the day. Sewing machines are recommended but not required if you prefer to hand sew.
