59 members attended our April meeting, held on April4, Easter Saturday. Helen Daboul spoke to members about the impact of the recent cyclone in Vanuatu, and asked members who had time to make a library bag, or bags for school children. (If you are interested, look at projects for details). Irene Blanck provided the shop, and members were very interested to look at Irene's patterns, and to have a close look at the beautiful, completed quilts she displayed.
The formal part of the meeting was held early, and then participants in the recent workshop taken by Chris Sarong displayed their projects. Members had been asked to search out projects that had been UFO's for quite some time, and the photos below display some of these finally completed. Irene spoke about some of her designs, and shared some samples of her beautiful work. Her talk was followed by a display of Caring and Sharing Quilts and Show and Tell items.
One enjoyable feature for chocoholic members was the visit of Easter bunny to each table.
