A Call for Help

P’s and Q’s have been approached by BlazeAid, through the Lions Club of Buninyong, for help with providing quilts to victims of the recent bushfires.

Most of us simply cannot imagine the sorrow of losing our precious things (not to mention our quilts and stash) in this way. Caring and Sharing will sort through our recent quilts and make a contribution on your behalf. We are also offering you the opportunity to bring to the meeting on Saturday, any quilts you would like to donate.

We have heard of a lady who lost all her belongings in the Charlton floods and has now lost everything, including a treasured quilt she was given in Charlton, to the recent bushfires. How sad is that – and how lucky are we!

      I am having a weekend retreat in a week and will try a new ruler for a pattern called a squedge! Hope your shoulder is healing well and you are getting plenty of rest.
