We are pleased to announce Sarah Fielke as our special guest speaker

Sarah is an award-winning quilt designer from Sydney. Over her 25-year career, she has authored 19 best-selling quilt books, which have sold over 200,000 copies worldwide and been translated into five languages. Her first book was “Material Obsession” which is widely recognised as a pioneer in the Modern Quilting movement.

She has also created a popular “Block of the Month” program, which has over 2,000 subscribers each year. Her quilts blend modern and traditional styles; she describes them as “contemporary traditional”, reflecting her unique approach to the art of quilting.

Sarah has designed fabric for Lecien Japan, Spotlight Australia and Windham Fabrics in the USA. She is a Craftsy instructor and has several on-demand video classes available at her website.

Sarah has also been a proud Aurifil designer for almost ten years, and currently has three collections available:
Big Stitch Hand Quilting, Everyday Applique and Big
Woods (pictured below)
