DESCRIPTION:"Where in the World" An Australian Quilters Association Exhibition\n*** Now with extended dates ***\nDATES: \n\n12th November – 24th December 2021\n11th January – 12th February 2022\n\nTIMES: \n\nTuesday – Friday 10am -4pm\nSaturday 12-4pm\n\nPresented by the Australian Quilters in Public Places (AQIPP)\, quilters from across Australia were given the opportunity to demonstrate their originality by creating quilts in response to a theme. The theme\, Where in The World\, can be interpreted through time\, space\, form or meaning and is sure to inspire some surprising and skilful quilts. \nAQIPP is a juried and judged exhibition with awards generously donated by sponsors including Brother. This will be the tenth AQIPP exhibition mounted by Australian Quilters Association (AQA)\, with the five most recent being held at the Whitehorse Art Space Box Hill.

SUMMARY:Sew\, Art & Chat - November 2021
DESCRIPTION:Sew\, Art & Chat is our Guilds very social day. This months it will be Quilters Who Knit!  \nWe are very hopeful that our November Sew\, Art and Chat will be held at Eley Road in person. The final decision must be made 2 weeks before the meeting date to avoid cancellation penalties. Let’s  keep positive thoughts towards that goal. The November meeting will discuss all things yarn and knitting. Bring your knitting or crochet projects and any show and tell projects you would like to share. I have done so much knitting over two years of lockdown I can’t possibly show it all but I will pick out a few favourites.  We will use the time as a question and answer session. I’m certain I won’t have all the answers but someone in the group will. Alternatively\, we can consult Ms. YouTube. I have already been asked by Jann to demonstrate long tail cast on\, three needle bind-off and short rows. Bring your questions along.  I look forward to seeing you in November! Leslie
