DESCRIPTION:Sew\, Art & Chat is our Guilds very social day - bring your hand or machine sewing project along\, a good day to relax and do your own thing. Opportunity to bring your sewing machine (remember to bring an extension cord)\, we have large tables available to spread out your project or to cut fabric. \n\nBring your lunch and drinks.\n\nIf you are so inclined\, a sub-group meets to explore Art quilt techniques. \nDetails of this months Project/Learning Workshop is in your members Newsletter. The workshop this month will cover eco-dyeing\, rusting fabric and\nbleaching. You can join in any or all of these techniques so it will be a very full day. The entire SAC committee will be teaching this as a team. There are\nsome pre-requirements – be aware that a couple of the items for eco-printing require advance preparation. Details are in your March In Stitches newsletter. \nParticipate in a challenge in a day. Challenge will be set on the day. DESCRIPTION:Sew\, Art & Chat is our Guilds very social day. This months it will be Quilters Who Knit!  \nWe are very hopeful that our November Sew\, Art and Chat will be held at Eley Road in person. The final decision must be made 2 weeks before the meeting date to avoid cancellation penalties. Let’s  keep positive thoughts towards that goal. The November meeting will discuss all things yarn and knitting. Bring your knitting or crochet projects and any show and tell projects you would like to share. I have done so much knitting over two years of lockdown I can’t possibly show it all but I will pick out a few favourites.  We will use the time as a question and answer session. I’m certain I won’t have all the answers but someone in the group will. Alternatively\, we can consult Ms. YouTube. The theme\, Where in The World\, can be interpreted through time\, space\, form or meaning and is sure to inspire some surprising and skilful quilts. \nAQIPP is a juried and judged exhibition with awards generously donated by sponsors including Brother. This will be the tenth AQIPP exhibition mounted by Australian Quilters Association (AQA)\, with the five most recent being held at the Whitehorse Art Space Box Hill.
