Bookings open 1 August at TryBooking - www.trybooking.com/DOCTG \nWe are pleased to announce Sarah Fielke as our special guest speaker\n\n					Sarah is an award-winning quilt designer from Sydney.\nOver her 25-year career\, she has authored 19 best-selling quilt books\, which have sold over 200\,000 copies worldwide and been translated into five languages.\nHer first book was “Material Obsession” which is widely recognised as a pioneer in the Modern Quilting movement. \nShe has also created a popular “Block of the Month” program\, which has over 2\,000 subscribers each year. Her quilts blend modern and traditional styles; she describes them as “contemporary traditional”\, reflecting her unique approach to the art of quilting. \nSarah has designed fabric for Lecien Japan\, Spotlight Australia and Windham Fabrics in the USA. We have postponed our Quilt-in a couple of times\, but we will get there!\n\nRachael Daisy is our special guest speaker with a beautiful trunk show of her fabulous quilts plus a selection of new quilts she is currently working on while in isolation. Rachael has won many awards for her quilts in Australia and overseas and is well known for her use of 3D elements whilst honouring traditional patterns and quilting. \nRachael’s quilts are fresh and fun\, whimsical and happy. They honestly make you smile\, so come along bring your friends and have a wonderful day listening to Rachael and getting up close with her wonderful array of quilts. \nFor quilter's retail therapy\, we plan to have some exciting shops catering for all tastes. \nCome and join us on our day of fun at the 2022 Quilt-in. \nThe number of tickets available is limited\, so be sure to book early. \nTickets are on sale now\, cost $25 plus a booking fee.
